FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

How do I place an order?

  • Visit Our Shop: If you're local, come to our shop to work with our team in person. It's a great way to explore our showroom and discuss your needs.
  • Website Forms: Use our website's order forms under the "Order" menu: Request for Quotation, Repeat Order Form, or Phenolic Label Order form. Alternatively, you can contact us through the form under "Contact Us."
  • Email Us Directly: You can also email us directly from your own email client. Our email is in the footer and on the "Contact Us" page.
  • Online Shop: For a wide selection of products and some services, order through our online shop. We'll send you a quote for confirmation before finalizing the order.

Please note that we do not accept phone orders.

Do we take old trophies to recycle or reuse them?

Unfortunately, we do not have the capacity to accept donations of old trophies for recycling or resale. The market for reselling old trophies is limited, and storage space constraints prevent us from accommodating such donations. However, if you have an old trophy that you wish to repurpose, you are welcome to bring it to us. We can clean it up, make necessary repairs, and add new engraving plates to give it a fresh look and purpose.

How quickly can my order be completed?

Our standard turnaround time is 10 business days, starting from the day after your order is confirmed. For small repeat orders, we typically turn them around within 5-7 business days. If you require even faster service, we offer rush options on a case-by-case basis, which may involve additional expedited service fees. When placing your order, please inform us of your desired in-hand date, and we will assess whether it can be accommodated, as well as any associated rush fees. Your satisfaction is our priority, and we'll do our best to meet your specific needs.

Can you engrave on something I bring in?

Absolutely! We have the capability to engrave on a wide range of materials and items, including those provided by customers. If you have something specific in mind, please let us know, and we'll assess whether it's suitable for engraving. For a more detailed overview of our engraving capabilities, and what we cannot engrave, you can visit our Services page. It's important to note that when you bring in your item, we cannot guarantee the engraving quality unless we've had prior experience with similar materials. To ensure transparency, you will be asked to sign a waiver acknowledging that the engraving quality may vary due to factors outside our control.  You can preview this waiver Here. Rest assured, we have extensive expertise in this field. If we believe that a particular item may not yield the desired results, we will provide honest feedback. Conversely, if we are confident that it will turn out well, our track record speaks for itself. Our primary goal is to ensure the highest quality results for the items you provide.

Can you engrave photos, clipart, or logos?

Certainly! We have the capability to engrave logos and clipart on a wide range of items. However, it's important to note that we require vector file formats for logos and clipart, preferably AI or EPS files. PDF and SVG files can also be used if they are vectorized images. For a comprehensive list of acceptable file types, please refer to the next question.

When it comes to engraving photos, our options are slightly more limited. We can perform laser engraving on photos or utilize sublimation for full-color rendering. It's important to keep in mind that not all photos engrave equally well. If you have a specific photo in mind, please share it with us, and we will assess its suitability for engraving, providing you with our professional recommendation.

What type of artwork files can you use?

Logo artwork used for laser engraving & rotary engraving into various products must be in an acceptable format to ensure good quality results. The process used for engraving is different than the process used for printing on your printer. An image that looks good on a printer may not engrave well on a product.

For laser engraving, acceptable file formats include the following:

  • TIFF, BMP, JPG, or other Raster images that are 1-Bit black and white camera-ready artwork. No Grayscale.
  • Should be in a minimum of 300 DPI resolution.
  • CorelDraw, Adobe Illustrator, EPS, PDF vector artwork that has all text converted to curves or outlines.
  • We accept both PC and MAC artwork files.

Unacceptable Files

JPG or GIF images or other low-resolution images converted to a TIFF or BMP and even if the resolution is changed to 300 dpi are not acceptable if the original image was less than 300 DPI. Simply resaving a file as a new file type, does not increase the quality of the pixels in the artwork itself. Images from websites are typically in 72 or 96 DPI. Please contact your companies graphic department to obtain a high-resolution logo, vs using one off your companies web site.

If you do not have a high-resolution image or must use one from your company’s website, please be aware that the end result of the laser engraving may not look professional. We can re-design the image if you prefer using the artwork you supply from your company website. However, there is a graphic design charge of $60/hour billable in 30-minute increments.

Do not embed image files inside of word documents or other documents such as spreadsheets rather provide the raw artwork file itself.

Stock Artwork

Our company maintains a database of over 80,000 standardized company logos and artwork files. In most cases, we may have your company’s logo already on file in a laser engravable format. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us.

Can I place an order even if I don't know the winners yet or what I want to say?

Yes! When you're ready to order, we primarily need two pieces of information: the quantity of items you want and the specific product you need. Since we handle all of our engraving in-house, with a little planning, we can accommodate your needs. Whether it's engraving something on the same day or just one day prior, even if you don't have the winners' names until the last minute, we've got you covered.

Can you bill my company?

Yes! We offer a range of flexible payment terms to suit your needs, including Immediate Payment (upfront), Due on Receipt (payment upon pickup), Net 15, Net 30, Net 60, and Net 90. For new customers, we typically start with Immediate Payment terms. However, we are willing to work with you if it's easier to pay when you pickup. Just let us know when you place your order, and we'll work with you to accommodate your needs.

If you're interested in Net accounts, please note that they are exclusively available for business organizations. For new customers, Net accounts can be set up after your initial order and payment. You can access the Billing Account Application on our website Here. Feel free to get in touch with us for more details, and we'll be delighted to discuss the various options with you to determine what suits your requirements best. We can setup tailored billing routes, and you can choose your method of bill delivery. We prefer to email invoices whenever possible.

How will I know when my order is ready for pickup?

We're dedicated to keeping you informed about your order's progress. Once your order is complete and ready for pickup, we will promptly contact you via phone and email to provide the good news. However, if your scheduled pickup/delivery date arrives, and you haven't received any communication from us, we recommend reaching out to our team first before visiting our store.

While we make every effort to have all orders ready for pickup by noon or even earlier, please understand that occasionally, we may be awaiting a shipment or finalizing orders up until the afternoon. In such cases, we will certainly notify you of any potential delays.
